Back to School with Roots Essential

Posted by Evangeline Stacy on

Is it pandemonium? Teachers, parents and children are all facing the beginning of school.

Essential oils can help smooth out the transition. First thing in the morning at wake-up time, prepare yourselves for a better day with traditional aromatherapy.

Lemon essential oil up lifts mood and helps boost the immune system, which is good for children getting back into school. Following the beginning of school season, doesn’t everyone exchange germs they might not have been around for a while? Back to school colds are too common. Avoid that, if you can.

Grapefruit essential oil also elevates the mood as a natural antidepressant and stimulant. Mixed with lemon first thing it the morning, this combination of aromatherapy encourages more enthusiastic, positive energy to face the challenges of getting back into the rhythm of school time.

If you have children who are a little over-stimulated to begin with, a mixture of Rosemary and Peppermint Essential Oils could be more beneficial. Most children love the scent. Peppermint is vividly awakening and blends pleasantly with Rosemary Essential Oil. Rosemary is said to reduce stress, enhance memory, and contribute to improved focus and mental activity.

Today I was considering how limiting another brand of essential oils is. They sell more pre-mixed blends for specific purposes than pure essential oils, presenting limitations.

Having essential oils on hand to blend as we need them for whatever variety of purposes, whenever they’re needed, is a blessing. My Mist is a perfect starter collection. Roots Essential recognizes and values the changing needs and ingenuity of our customers, and we thank you for loving our products.
