Where you are, do mosquitoes need Air Traffic Control?
In Minnesota, some people say the mosquito is the national bird! With our vast collection of lakes and waterways, mosquitoes love it here. It’s nice to have a break from winter, even if it means we’ll soon be hearing that high-pitched whine of those blood-sucking pests. People will be slapping, spraying, and doing whatever they can to avoid mosquito bites.
What do you do?
We’ve discovered a great answer. It’s safer and less expensive than most of what’s out there in the marketplace.
Shake well before using. Mosquitoes don’t like the smell, but some people may be attracted.

Mix together 1/3-part vanilla (Mexican Vanilla works well) with 2/3-part Olive Oil or Grapeseed Oil.

Added drops (up to 15 drops per ounce of the mixture you just made) of Lavender or Orange Essential Oil combines nicely with the vanilla. Both are scents mosquitoes want no part of.
