Skin is a Reflection of What's Inside

Skin is a Reflection of What's Inside

What makes you beautiful? If you’re female and age 15 or older, count how many beauty products you have for applying to the outside. How effective are they?

Everyone’s probably heard that saying: It’s what’s inside that counts. Do you know how true that is?

Don’t get rid of the beauty products. Here are a few things to think about:

  1. Everyone should drink at least half their weight in ounces of water every day. Example: 120 pounds = 60 ounces a day = (rounded up) 8 8-ounce glasses a day. If you drink 8 sugary beverages a day instead, you’re headed to a bad-skin destination.

  2. Starting the day with protein and Biotin (Vitamin B7) helps keep skin healthy and strong. A breakfast that includes healthy protein with eggs and dairy or a protein shake that includes peanut butter or almond butter to get Biotin we all need daily for healthiness from the inside out.

  3. Do you suffer from acne or facial puffiness? These are probably the most common skin problems people relate with sugar. Did you know sugar also causes inflammation and irritation of blood vessels that can cause problems with our natural process of producing more elastin and collagen? Sugar might be the culprit causing you lack-luster, less supple skin.

  4. Omega 3’s found in many kinds of fish, spinach and flax seed, support nerve health with essential lubrication, and help keep skin hydrated from the inside, as well.

Using essential oils that reinforce health and wellness are also part of an effective inner health plan that exudes from inside to how people see us from the outside.

Feelings of spirituality and a positive balanced attitude about life are also quite attractive.

A famous movie star, Rosalind Russell said, “Taking joy in life is a woman’s best cosmetic.”
